NOTE: Route 6 is a busy, narrow road especially during rush hours.  If you are unfamiliar with the approaches to camp carefully review the directions below before traveling.

From the North and West (Manchester, East Hartford, South Windsor, Vernon):
I-384 East to its end, right lane to
Route 6 East, look for a Texaco gas station on the right.
Shortly after this the road will take a turn to the right and start down a hill.  Look closely and turn
Right onto Johnson Road.
After the houses on the left look for the camp gate.  Parking is 1/4 mile up the camp road.  Note that the camp road might not be plowed in the winter.

From the East (Ellington, Coventry):
Route 44 West.  There is no direct access to Rt. 6 East from Rt. 44 West in Bolton Notch.  Two ways to reach Route 6 East:
-Continue on Rt. 44 West past the Notch, following the signs off the highway at the first exit, left over the bridge and back onto I-384.  See "From the West" for directions to camp.
-or-
-Before the Notch, at the traffic light at the entrance to the Lower Bolton Lake boat launch, turn left onto South Rd.  Take this to its end (bear left at the first stop sign) where it meets Rt. 6 (steep hill down).  Turn right onto Rt. 6 West.  Short distance to Johnson Rd., left turn (left turn lane provided).  This route not recommended during busy times.
After the houses on the left look for the camp gate.  Parking is 1/4 mile up the camp road.  Note that the camp road might not be plowed in the winter.

From the South (Andover, Hebron):
Rt. 6 West to Johnson Rd.  (During busy times it is recommended to access Route 6 at a signaled intersection such as Route 316.)
Turn left onto Johnson Rd.
After the houses on the left look for the camp gate.  Parking is 1/4 mile up the camp road.  Note that the camp road might not be plowed in the winter.
